If you applied for SNAP benefits since August 2016 and you believe that you did not get your benefits on time, please let DHS know right away! The RI Department of Human Services (DHS) has posted a SNAP Delay Notice and Form to all SNAP applicants who applied for SNAP benefits from August 1, 2016.  DHS is attempting to locate any client who may be entitled to retroactive SNAP benefits back to the date of their original application
